PRE-SCHOOL TEACHER
**PART-TIME, MATERNITY LEAVE COVER
Cranbrook School is seeking an experienced and energetic early childhood Teacher to join
our dynamic Pre-school team, commencing in August 2023.

ABOUT THE POSITION
The position will be based at St Michael's Pre-School at Vaucluse on a part-time (0.8 FTE)
basis working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

The Pre-School Teacher is responsible for developing and delivering the highest quality
educational experience for all children attending the Pre-school.

in a pre-school setting.

and other teachers. You are committed to continual professional development and
reflection, and have a genuine interest in the growth of young people.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • A recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree or similar as approved by the Australian
Children's Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)

  • NESA accreditation to teach in New South Wales
  • Demonstrated and perceptive understanding of the role of evidence in informing
teaching and learning

  • Experience in digital documentation and journals
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law, the Education
and Care Services National Regulations, National Quality Framework, and the Early
Years Learning Framework

  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
  • A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Experience with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme would be
advantageous.
