Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Health Advisor to join our Brisbane head office. The role involves managing injury/case issues, addressing various health needs to comply with legislation and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Worker Compensation claims, including reporting, liaising with insurers, and overseeing return to work processes
  • Participate in developing injury prevention and management strategies
  • Establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders
  • Maintain health information and data accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with health schemes and regulations
  • Analyze health data for trends and necessary controls
  • Implement health requirements of management plans
  • Contribute to business health and wellbeing programs
  • Provide guidance on health and injury matters
  • Offer leadership and support on health issues company-wide
  • Adhere strictly to health policies and minimize workplace hazards
  • Facilitate communication and decision-making on health-related issues

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Allied Health (e.g., Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Safety & Risk)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role in mining
  • Experience in injury case management and Workers Compensation processes
  • Familiarity with relevant software is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Leadership qualities and a proactive attitude
