The Commercial Analyst will work closely with key stakeholders in Global Sales and Distribution to drive the development and execution of strategies. Responsibilities include strategy formulation and deployment.

This position involves collaborating extensively with stakeholders in Global Sales and Distribution and other Qantas Group divisions to facilitate strategy development. The Commercial Analyst must possess advanced analytical, negotiation, communication, organizational, and influencing skills at a senior level to drive optimal business outcomes using data-driven insights.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in a similar role
  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business, technology, or related field
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data from various sources, both internal and external
  • Proven ability to leverage performance drivers and insights to propose actions that enhance strategic, operational, or commercial performance
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Qlik Sense for dynamic ad hoc reporting
  • Experience in managing diverse stakeholder requirements and expectations
  • Business acumen to translate analysis into actionable recommendations
  • Ability to handle multiple issues and conflicting deadlines under pressure, prioritizing effectively to achieve optimal outcomes for all stakeholders
