About the Role

  • As a successful applicant, you will be working within a hospital environment.
  • You will need to be friendly and polite with a courteous manner toward the public and have a background in security with good organisational skills.
  • Your work will include Cleaning, Manual Handling and Security working in a professional workforce.

Where you'll be working

  • Singleton District Hospital is an acute facility with 68 beds, providing health services to the community of Singleton and the surrounding district. A wide range of community health services are also provided through the local Community Health Service.
  • Singleton sits on the northern edge of the Hunter Valley wine region.
  • This pretty riverside town has many wellpreserved historic buildings, museums and an impressive new arts centre, and is surrounded by bushland and national parks.
  • Singleton is just over a 2hour drive north of Sydney, and only an hour from Newcastle, with trains from Sydney stopping regularly.

Acceptable proof of COVID-19 vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement (IHS), or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate, or AIR COVID-19 and Influenza IHS.

Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
