The Opportunity

To join Acusensus is to be part of a contemporary work environment that is focused on the ethical use of the latest technologies to address the world's most persistent problems; and reducing road trauma is our first priority.

As a key member of our growing organisation and our subject matter expert in all things Quality you will have direct exposure to our Executive Leadership Team and provide advice and support. A key focus of the position will be to drive the implementation and management of a best practice Quality Management System (QMS) that aligns to the business' goals and is a key enabler to achieving these. Importantly, the QMS by design will need to be agile and capable of both scaling efficiently as the business grows [in Australia and globally] as well as delivering exemplary compliance along this journey.

Beyond the introduction of a QMS, and of equal importance, will be your ability to raise the profile of Quality across the business by inspiring the team to engage in the continuous improvement journey. As part of this you will be responsible for developing and embedding the mechanisms and practices that drive a consistent focus on continuous improvement and elevate Quality and Excellence as a priority in everything we do.

Key to your success, will be your ability to build great working relationships, work collaboratively and bring the team on the journey. You will spend time working with each of our teams to understand the work they do and the challenges they face and these learnings will enable you to provide the right advice and training when it comes to the QMS processes and practices each team needs to integrate into their day-to-day activities.

What you'll bring

  • A demonstrable track record in quality management in a Specialist, Manager or Senior Advisor capacity.
  • Experience in gaining or working towards ISO9001 accreditation.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Quality Management [Diploma or higher].
  • A passion for quality management and continuous improvement.
  • A whole of business approach to deploying agile, best practice quality programs.
  • Enthusiasm to work closely with our teams to really understand the work they do.
  • An enquiring mind and enabling approach to your work.
  • Great communication and collaboration skills.
  • Well-developed written communication and technology skills.
