2 x Systems Engineer - Defence Consultant

Taw-Con is looking for 2 skilled Systems Engineers (V&V or communications) to join our team. As a Defence Consultant, you will provide expert advice to enhance clients' capabilities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Defence and Engineering with a proven track record.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and support Mandated System Reviews (MSR)
  • Verification and Validation (V&V) activities
  • System Safety Working Groups (SSWG)
  • Develop solutions for technical issues and risks on the Boxer CRV variant
  • Prepare technical reports and official project correspondence
  • Progress Engineering Changes with experience in CMT-L
  • Manage contracted requirements with experience in DOORS
  • Plan and manage V&V program
  • Coordinate V&V activities with project stakeholders
  • Provide authoritative V&V advice to project leadership
  • Develop formal correspondence and briefings on V&V activities
  • Communicate risks associated with V&V activities
  • Support Product and System certification activities

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Formal engineering qualification to attain appropriate Technical Authority
  • Proficiency in tasks within an Engineering Management framework
  • Understanding of Defence Capability Life Cycle and Defence Systems Engineering
  • Experience in developing and reviewing technical/engineering documentation
  • AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance (minimum)
  • Systems Engineering experience (V&V or Communication)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
