You'll contribute to:

Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and fostering a culture of transparency and cooperation.

Leading the development and implementation of engagement protocols between Work Cover and regulatory entities, influencing outcomes from regulatory reviews, and managing responses to high-level complaints.

Collaborating with internal stakeholders to address regulatory matters, proactively identifying areas for improvement, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance regulatory compliance and governance.

Providing subject matter expertise and guidance on regulatory frameworks, supporting cross-functional teams in understanding and navigating regulatory requirements to achieve organisational objectives.


A bit about you:

You hold tertiary qualifications in law, commerce, claims management, or related disciplines, coupled with a minimum of 5 years' experience in claims management, risk, compliance, or governance.

Your background includes practical experience in a similar role with regulators or in legal/policy stakeholder management, demonstrating a strong understanding of statutory and common law claims management functions.

With exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, you excel at negotiating outcomes and building rapport with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

You possess strong planning and decision-making abilities, proven to devise and implement effective strategies to ensure regulatory compliance and achieve organisational goals, while fostering collaboration and teamwork.
