The role
Provide Foreign Exchange solutions, tailored to the individual business requirements of our customer base across Australia.

It is anticipated the successful applicant will be allocated a geographic portfolio of customers who are serviced by our commercial and agribusiness centres.


This role will primarily focus on:

  • Implement a structured calling program to service Foreign Exchange clients in an allocated geographical region
  • Manage treasury documentation, loan documentation, establishing limits and assist Business Banking staff with FX facility requests and system processing
  • Providing support to the Manager, FX & IRRM to improve product development, procedures and policies with a particular focus on streamlining workflows for Business Banking colleagues
  • Provide guidance, training and mentoring to FX RM Analyst and FX & IRRM Analyst roles

What you'll do

  • Client Experience demonstrated client satisfaction through assisting the Foreign Exchange desk to service national portfolio of clients
  • Portfolio Growth and Development contribute to the IRRM & FX team achieving revenue and behavioural targets
  • Project Work provide ongoing project support to the development and implementation of improved procedures and products


 Compliance
  • Adhere to compliance requirements for all internal and external regulatory and operational activities by monitoring & reporting on daily activities, limit breaches and policy breaches. Commitment to managing AFMA professional continuing education requirements
  • Personal Development construction and implementation of a personal development plan to enhance skills required in current and future roles within the organisation
  • Revenue and Value Add
  • Assist the Manager FX & IR RM team to achieve revenue targets; and also value add targets such as retention of key lending clients and assisting the bank to achieve acceptable ROE targets for each client relationship

What you'll bring

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Marketing (highly desirable)
  • AFMA Dealer Accreditation either FX or Interest Rate modules (highly desirable)
  • 35 years' experience required in Banking and/or Financial Markets
