As a senior System Support Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, stability, and availability of complex application systems.

You will contribute significantly to operational success, refine your expertise in incident management and DevOps, and leave a lasting impact on delivering inventive solutions to our clients.

Job responsibilities:
  • Utilize skills in incident management processes and tools, application monitoring metrics, and tooling to generate reports and take corrective actions.
  • Understand complex application systems to debug business impacting issues.
  • Follow standards and best practices to enhance operational efficiencies, stability, and availability of the system.
  • Utilize continuous delivery practices to evolve, support, and deliver high-quality software, bringing value to end customers early on.
  • Leverage knowledge of various logging techniques for alerting, monitoring, and identifying the root cause of incidents.
  • Efficiently use DevOps tools and practices for software deployment and operation.
  • Act as a mentor for less experienced peers through technical knowledge and leadership skills.
  • Apply the latest technology trends to solve client problems.
Job qualifications:
  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience in programming languages like Java or .Net, understanding of cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, GCP, scripting languages - Python, Powershell.
  • Strong debugging and triaging skills.
  • Experience with relational databases like MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure pipelines.
  • Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
  • Understanding of application monitoring tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana.
  • Ability to ensure high-quality deliverables and well-tested code.
  • Comfortable with Agile methods like Scrum and/or Kanban.
  • Professional Skills:
  • Advocate for technical excellence, open to change when necessary.
  • Strong communication and articulation skills.
  • Active presence in the tech community, sharing expertise through various channels.
  • Resilient in ambiguous situations, approaches challenges from multiple perspectives.
  • Implement cloud and security best practices.
  • Capability to guide and mentor junior-level consultants.
  • Willingness to be part of a rotation-based 24x7 team.
