  • Maintaining and optimising the performance of our advanced cybersecurity detection and prevention systems and protocols.

Furthermore, you will play a key role in:

  • Cultivating a robust cybersecurity culture within the organization.
  • Managing cyber risks effectively and strategically.
  • Strengthening the overall cyber resilience of Wilson Group.

Description

Key Duties include:

  • Craft and uphold comprehensive software application security policies and procedures to safeguard our systems.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and strategic direction to our application development teams, ensuring security is at the forefront of our operations.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance documentation that outlines our robust application security controls.
  • Execute the implementation of cutting-edge security controls across all digital and security solutions, ensuring the highest level of protection.
  • Design and engineer technical solutions aimed at addressing and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of system services, scrutinizing code, networks, and applications to preemptively identify and resolve potential security issues.
  • Adhere to industry-leading security best practices throughout all aspects of your work.
  • Utilize your deep understanding of web and mobile application security to foster a secure software environment.
  • Apply your programming expertise and knowledge of diverse programming languages to create secure software solutions.
  • Leverage state-of-the-art security testing tools to maintain and enhance application security.
  • Demonstrate a profound knowledge of common cybersecurity threats and attacks, and the tactics to defend against them.
  • Understand and implement security protocols and standards to maintain a secure infrastructure.
  • Engage in threat modelling and analysis to predict and neutralize potential security risks.
  • Manage database and cloud encryption to protect sensitive data across platforms.
  • Harness the power of automation to streamline and strengthen security measures.
  • Bring a comprehensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle to optimize and secure each phase of development.

Profile

Skills and requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Application Security or related fields for Digital and Mobile channels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior management across multiple departments
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment
  • Ability to prioritise and execute tasks
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Active certifications and credentials in information systems or cyber security operations and management.
  • University degree or diploma in information technology, computer science and/or related discipline.
  • Experience in commercial DAST/SAST solutions.
  • DevSecOps or DevOps
