Summary of work to be done:
The Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) Section is focused on automating business process management (BPM) for the Department of Home Affairs by delivering ICT business solutions on enterprise-wide strategic platforms. These strategic Pega Platforms for Home Affairs streamline and automate repeatable business activities, enabling staff to focus on more valuable tasks.
The Section achieves its goals and objectives through:
- Establishing and managing strategic enterprise-wide platforms for the Department
- Delivering enterprise capability to support strategic business solutions and providing technical support
- Promoting quality engineering through Pega Best Practice design guidance and reviews via the Pega Quality & Enablement Centre of Excellence
- Developing internal capability, providing training for the Pega community, and supporting capability across government
These Senior Business Analyst positions will work with a diverse team to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities include supporting Business as Usual (BAU) and Program support for business applications on the Pega Platform and Cloud Pega Platform.
The Specified Personnel will provide deliverables such as:
- Facilitating workshops with stakeholders to identify business needs using design thinking principles
- Ensuring alignment of stakeholder needs through playbacks and design reviews
- Documenting specifications under guidance and facilitating walkthrough reviews
- Prioritizing system defects and issues
- Supporting internal and external Pega Quality reviews
- Mentoring staff in using the Pega Platform and emphasizing user experience design principles
Additionally, responsibilities include:
- Contributing to Pega Best Practice standards and governance structures
- Embracing and contributing to EBS delivery methodologies and tools
- Evaluating feasibility and risks for projects and documenting design options
- Delivering capability aligned with user story priorities on the Pega Platform and Cloud Pega Platform
The Specified Personnel will also produce deliverables such as:
- Discovery findings documentation
- Requirements documentation
- Specification documentation
- Presentation materials for solution design
