Position Overview

The Assistant Support Facilitator will primarily support the Facilitators across South-East Queensland in an administrative capacity. This role plays a vital part in delivering timely and person-centered supports to individuals with disabilities so they can achieve their goals and maintain valued relationships. The position offers an opportunity for career growth, valuable experience, and the chance to make a real impact.

  • Assist Facilitators with Participant profiles and compliance.
  • Collaborate on support plans for Participants.
  • Assess and respond to risks to ensure safety.
  • Monitor and document Participants' progress.
  • Handle daily administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate activities and support services effectively.
  • Maintain a positive environment for Participants and Staff.
  • Contribute to service improvement in team meetings.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for helping others.
  • Knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and computer skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
  • Flexibility to meet diverse needs.
  • Support or caregiving experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Qualifications in Disability or Health Care are desirable but not essential.

Mandatory Requirements

  • Current Blue and Yellow Card/NDIS Card.
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate.
  • Valid QLD driver's licence.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Relevant sector qualifications are appreciated but not obligatory.
  • Case Management experience is valued but not necessary.
