This role will contribute to the successful delivery of Ichthys Topside Phase 2B Topside modifications:

  • Support the Phase 2 Topsides Execution Lead to establish project delivery team capability and organisational needs for project execution.
  • Assist in the development of robust schedule estimates for Phase 2 project activities.
  • Participate in mid to long term planning and constructability sessions with a focus on promoting offshore efficiencies whilst advising of offshore constraints.
  • Assist with offshore POB requirements and provide expert knowledge wrt trade utilisations and manpower efficiencies.
  • Ensure that all works are carried out in compliance with the relevant Standards and Guidelines.
  • Assist in the development of robust cost and schedule estimates for Phase 2 project activities.
  • Ensure project completions follow the OPERCOM delivery model and is appropriately documented within the ICAPS Project Completion Database.

About this role Ichthys Topside Modifications Management**- Providing input into the CCLBD, scope sequencing, optimization and scheduling of implementation and precommissioning activities.

  • Collaboration with the project site team ensuring work packs meet site needs and any installation concerns are addressed and if possible, engineered out. (Both CPF and Fabrication Yard in Batam)
  • Provide both detailed people hour estimates and trade splits for specific scopes of work.
  • Provide discipline specific knowledge and input into constructability and HAZID documentation and presentations.
  • Attend constructability and HAZID workshops.
  • Ensure documentation produced by the team is in line with project standards and meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Assist in identifying project risks and implement agreed mitigation measures as required.
  • Back fill for Phase 2 Offshore Implementation Team Lead on occasion.
  • Lead offshore implementation activities for Phase 2 works.
  • Ensure that the implementation contractor(s) and any subcontractor(s) are performing works in accordance to project specifications, in line with project schedule and priorities and policies.
  • Liaise with various interfaces (contractors and subcontractors, vendors, Company departments, etc.) for the resolution of engineering queries, material or vendor issues, etc. to minimise the impact on implementation activities.

Leadership/Team Work

  • Demonstrate proactive engagement with other stakeholders relating to the execution phase 2b Topside modifications.
  • Provide proactive leadership within Inpex Australia related to Brownfields Project activities.
  • Demonstrate and encourage empathetic teamwork as a member of a culturally diverse organisation.

Occupational Health and Safety

  • Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies, standards and procedures.
  • Ensuring the welfare of personnel and the protection of assets and the environment at all times.
  • Actively participate in client and company safety programs and training as required.
  • Demonstrate HSE leadership by actively promoting HSE and quality policy and procedures to all personnel within the work environment.
  • Proactive role to identify and close hazards on worksite through the use of the Hazard Observation (HAZOB) Card, to be reported to HSE team during related activities.
  • Assist with job safety analysis (development if necessary or requested).
  • Participate in JSA reviews when necessary.
  • Ensure that HSE vigilance is exercised at all times and encourage a positive working Environment
  • Ensure all activities minimize the impact on the environment in line with policies and requirements.

About you

  • Business Systems Microsoft Packages, SAP Technical Systems Project planning and cost management tools.
  • Trade Background in relevant discipline or Tertiary Engineering Degree.
  • Extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with relevant experience in a Lead role.
  • Offshore experience on large project (Greenfield/Brownfield).
  • Multidiscipline experience (Structure/E&I/Piping ).
  • Precom / com experience.
  • Valid TBOSIET & Offshore Medical.
  • Working knowledge of: Upstream and downstream facility technologies subsea, offshore processing facilities.
  • Highly competent, motivated person with good interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • High awareness of safe working practices associated with design, construction, precommissioning, installation, hookup and commissioning of oil & gas facilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and the ability to influence a wide range of senior stakeholders to successfully support the objectives and outcomes of this role. Australian Full working rights
