The Role
This is a newly created permanent role to support the ongoing growth of the consumer base. This opportunity is available for a Credit/Receivables officer looking to further develop their on-the-job experience. This role is suitable for professionals looking for mentorship with building their career in their Accounting and finance.

In this role you will be responsible but not limited to:

  • Responsible for obtaining approval and entering stock and other credits accurately and in a timely manner
  • Managing Major QSR and food service ledgers
  • Proactive approach to ensure all accounts are kept strictly within trading terms whilst maintaining excellent customer relationship
  • Manage the timely resolution to claims via proactive identification of reasons for the claim, the escalation of claims to management where the company's expectation for timely resolution is exceeded.
  • Ensure all 'Bundled Terms' are taken in accordance with agreed trading terms
  • Ensure any Settlement Discount taken is in accordance with agreed trading terms

About you

  • Prior experience in a full function Accounts receivable/collections role (FMCG experience is desirable not essential)
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Strong attention to details
  • Ability to work towards tight deadlines
  • Proactive with resolving queries
  • Strong MS Excel skills
With flexible start and finish times, this role is to work from the office Monday - Friday.
