About the role:


As Leisure and Lifestyle Officer's you will ensure the design, development and implementation of special programs to meet the needs of our residents.

This is a diverse and exciting role that will allow you to use your amazing communication skills to;
Develop and conduct programs tailored to individualized needs

Participate in the organisation of functions

Assess, develop and review care plans for resident's activities and

Encourage residents towards a higher quality of life through participation of meaningful activities

We currently have PART TIME opportunities, with various shifts available across a fortnightly roster, for Leisure and Lifestyle Assistants' to join our team

What you bring:

Essential

Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal

Certificate IV Leisure & Lifestyle or other relevant qualification.

Current First Aid Certificate

Experience in the planning, implementation and evaluation of activities and programs for older people with cognitive impairment and other disabilities

Ability to document assessments, care plans and progress notes to meet legislative, funding and quality improvement requirements

Current NSW Driver's Licence.

Desirable

Certificate III Aged Care

Experience in aged care or similar industry

Previous experience working with people from a culturally diverse background

Experience or qualifications working within palliative care
