They are seeking a
Stores Controller, for their Jandakot location, who has excellent organisation and problem-solving skills and is able to work effectively in a time-pressured environment.


About the role

Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for the procurement of aircraft materials, spare parts and miscellaneous consumables and for coordinating the domestic and international supply chain.

Working collaboratively with their team of 20 staff members, you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify suitable vendors and consequently, material lead times.

This knowledge will assist you in adhering to the relevant time frame and budget requirements.

Some other tasks you will be responsible for are:

  • Preparing invoices, delivery notes and purchase orders
  • Managing 2 Stores Assistants
  • Recommending process and procedural improvements
  • Conducting periodic stock takes
  • Sourcing vendors for the repair and overhaul of damaged materials
  • Adhoc administrative tasks including trade compliance

About you

  • Experience working in an aviation environment or understanding of aviation regulatory framework
  • Experience with Areotrack or other inventory control / logistics software
  • Forklift Licence
