**Stores Superintendent**

**Venture Smart** are working on exciting project delivery work for Main Roads WA. Due to continued expansion of work we are looking for a **Stores Superintendent** to lead this critical logístical piece, and reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent at our Jandakot WA facility. **Venture Smart **is a 50/50 joint venture between **Ventia** and Johnson Controls (JCI) to providing ongoing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) maintenance services & electrical capital works state-wide for Main Roads WA.

**Primary focus of this role**:

- Delivery of a proactive and efficient plant, stores and purchasing service enabling the operational team to focus on delivery activities
- Accountability for timeous and accurate stock records and valuation, that is cognisant of both critical delivery dates and minimising cashflow
- Optimisation of min / max levels, and analysis of SAP data to drive optimise purchasing strategy
- Negotiation with supply chain to maximise opportunities whilst maintaining long term relationships
- Achievement of cross contract efficiencies in service delivery (time, quality and spend)
- Identification of profit improvement opportunities in materials and stores space
- Leadership of team: SAP System data entry officer, purchasing officer, stores personnel

**About you**:

- 5+ Years’ experience in an equivalent role
- Degree or equivalent qualification in role related area
- Previously managed and lead a high performing team
- Able to deliver a service across multiple clients
- Advanced MS Suite including Word, Excel and Project, including for data analysis purposes
- SAP stock usage and understanding highly advantageous
- High level attention to detail and organisation skills
- Financial responsibilities which include cost coding, cost allocation, stock valuation, stock transfer, cost analysis, data analysis, data mining, trend analysis
- Fleet management and Logistics and scheduling
