Who are we looking for?:


We are looking for a Contracts Specialist to join our Procurement team and provide contractual expertise and sound contract knowledge/management processes across our growing organisation.

Bringing your experience and knowledge in contract development and outstanding relationship management skills, you will provide contract negotiations and work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to mitigate risk and minimise costs.


Fresh Graduates with Tertiary qualifications in areas such as Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Contracts Management are also encouraged to apply.

Reporting to the Senior Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing appropriate contracting arrangements with suppliers.

No two days will be the same as you will be exposed to a variety of business areas such as Aged Care, Disability, Community and Housing, as well as our Corporate business areas.


What can you expect to be doing?:

  • Manage the negotiation of goods and services contracts across the organisation, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Develop tender documentation in consultation with relevant stakeholders within agreed timeframes, ensuring business requirements are met.
  • Provide advice on contractual responsibilities and queries across the organisation in line with supplier contracts and procurements policies and procedures.
  • Review and facilitate supplier meetings to ensure compliance on a quarterly basis.
  • Support the introduction of new suppliers to the organisation by contributing to internal communication, training and change management plans.
  • Promote engagement with the Procurement team, through professional service, quality advice and innovative ideas.

What do you need to bring?:

  • Proven experience / knowledge in contract development and supplier relationship management.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Purchasing and Contract Management (desirable).
  • Commitment to integrity across all aspects of supplier negotiation and contracting.
  • Ability to understand strategic initiatives and ensure contract planning aligns with strategic plans.
  • Effective verbal, written communication and presentation skills with an ability to build effective relationships with business representatives, customers, and suppliers.
  • Computer literacy skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite_._
