We're seeking a solution focused HR Business Partner on a Fixed Term Contract, up to 12 months, to join our Brickworks team in Horsley Park, NSW.

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for partnering with the business to provide operational and strategic HR consultancy, advice and support relating to HR and IR matters aimed at delivering a value-added service to reflect the business objectives.

Duties include but are not limited to:***- Provide HR consultancy, support and advice on a wide range of employee relations and industrial relations matters throughout the employee lifecycle including employee grievances, performance management and disciplinary matters.

  • Manage employee relations issues including, investigating employee complaints, providing recommendations to maximise productivity and mitigate risk and support with negotiating enterprise agreements.
  • Support leaders with the endtoend recruitment and selection of hires and talent for the business.
  • Deliver learning and development initiatives to enhance performance gaps affecting organisational effectiveness.
  • Support leaders in relation to talent management, succession planning and career development.
  • Provide coaching to senior leaders and frontline leaders and contribute to building leadership capability.
  • Provide input to the review and development of companywide policies, procedures and systems taking an active role in implementing these consistently.
  • Support leaders in relation to employee engagement initiatives.
  • Provide remuneration and benefit advice including reward and recognition programs, job evaluation, remuneration analysis, coordinating remuneration and bonus review.
  • Develop and maintain human resources standard operating procedures, templates and documents for key HR processes.
  • Lead and deliver HR related initiatives/projects that support operations and overarching strategic plan.

Success Requirements
***- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Proficient in critical thinking and problemsolving.
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR competencies (e.g., succession planning, performance management, grievance resolution) aligned with policies and laws.
  • Effective case management and multitasking abilities.
  • Minimum 3 years of HR experience
  • Desirable: HR or related degree and knowledge of employment law and industrial regulations
