Corporate Services teams at Metro play a key role in providing essential support services that help the business operate efficiently. From Safety and People, Marketing and Communication, to Finance, Legal, and IT. Our Corporate Services teams work together to ensure that the business runs seamlessly as a united team.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Administrator to assist the Corporate Finance team in ensuring timely issuance of invoices and processing payments.

Please note that this role is part-time for 20 hours per week.

  • You will create debtor invoices and process credit notes
  • Perform daily reconciliation with cash receipts and payment allocations, including investigating unidentified payments
  • Chase up overdue payments, secure payment commitments, and follow through on payment promises
  • Conduct revenue analysis and reporting with internal stakeholders on invoice requests for undiscovered costs
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to offer invoicing support and guide on policies and procedures
  • Ensure quick responses to queries from internal and external stakeholders

About you

  • Completion of Year 12 VCE or equivalent
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in a previous Accounts Receivable role
  • Experience in using a computer-based Accounts Receivable System
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of collection, credit control procedures, and dispute management is crucial
