About the Role:
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, programming, testing, and maintaining electrical and electronic control systems to ensure smooth and safe operations.

You will utilize your skills to devise solutions for testing different device functionalities by integrating hardware, software, and mechanical components.
Projects will encompass a variety of settings such as sports venues, theaters, schools, public spaces, and corporate facilities.

In this role, you will build and maintain relationships within the organization and with external stakeholders. Your responsibilities range from providing training on control systems operations to offering cost estimates to clients, granting you complete ownership of your tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing control system issues.
  • Developing and constructing various control systems.
  • Designing, building, programming, and documenting electromechanical and electronic control systems.
  • Managing research, design, and implementation of control systems.
  • Creating software to enhance efficiency and meet customer requirements.
  • Generating compliance documentation for standard and custom-built machinery systems.
  • Offering cost estimations and concept models for control system components.
  • Enhancing existing systems and introducing improvements.
  • Developing and revising Quality Assurance documentation relevant to control systems.

Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess:

Mandatory:

  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Current Police Check
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Australian Working rights
  • Bachelor's Degree

Technical Expertise Needed:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in relevant roles, with prior Audio Visual/Events Production experience being advantageous.
  • Understanding of electrical theory, control components, and automation.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like C and C++.
  • Ability to interpret complex plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to convey processes clearly across teams and to end-users.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adept at managing concurrent projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
