We are working with a disability company looking for a Practice Lead, Behaviour Support to join the team on a full time permanent basis.

They are looking for someone to lead the implementation of programs to facilitate consistent behaviour support practices across their services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing advice the wider team on the development and implementation of policies, procedures and continuous improvement initiatives to meet governance, quality management and client safeguarding requirements.
  • Collaborating with the Practice Lead, Clinical Support to ensure a cross functional approach to reviewing and assessing the effectiveness of quality, education and client safeguarding processes that govern both behaviour support and clinical support service delivery.
  • Building educational tools for the planning and delivery of mandatory staff training requirements as a behaviour support implementing provider in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Implementing Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures to ensure compliance with data, regulatory and statutory requirements.

About you:

  • Psychology Qualifications
  • Minimum three years experience in the disability or community sector
  • Understanding of logístical, ethical and human rights issues impacting people with disability;
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Previous leadership experience is desirable
