About the Role:

We are currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic community aged care and NDIS provider in Melbourne in a remote telehealth role.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide high-quality OT assessment and treatments via telehealth services with the assistance of an OT assistant
  • Conduct clinical assessments, develop and maintain care plans, set clinical goals, and provide treatment to enhance clients' quality of life, independence, and safety through various interventions, such as modifications, devices, and strategies.
  • See a caseload of HCP and NDIS clients.
  • Maintain high standards of documentation in line with company, clinical site, and medico-legal requirements.
  • Seek advice and support from the Team Leader
  • Collaborate with the Team Lead for daily management and clinical advice.
  • Prepare relevant reports as required.
  • Attend team meetings as required

About You:

  • Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated competence in therapy services across a wide range of clinical conditions and service settings
  • Evidence of experience in meeting key performance measures
  • Evidence of having successfully managed others to achieve key performance measures
  • Evidence of having provided excellent clinical intervention, person centred practice and quality customer service
  • Competency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and ability to learn to use systems within a range of working environments
  • Current valid state-based Drivers License and own car
  • Current valid National Police Check
