Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with operational managers to devise and execute cutting-edge strategies and tactics for communicating port operations-related initiatives to our dedicated employees and stakeholders.

Content Creation: Conduct thorough research, craft compelling narratives, and deliver engaging internal communication materials that resonate with our diverse workforce. Support operational managers and supervisors in fostering effective internal communication channels.

Training Support: Play a pivotal role in the delivery of communications training, empowering our team members with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their roles.

Interdepartmental Liaison: Forge strong relationships with various departments within the Port authority, gathering valuable insights and information to enrich our organization's publications and communications initiatives.

Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive communications plans, ensuring activities are aligned with our overarching goals and objectives.

Visual Storytelling: Capture the essence of our operations through captivating photographs and videos, enriching our communication efforts and engaging our audience on multiple platforms.

ABOUT YOU

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Tertiary or industry qualification in a relevant field.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing project communication strategies, including the delivery of on-ground activities that deliver practical outcomes.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills
  • MUST BE AUSTRALIAN CITIZEN
