Dementia and Aged Care Services Australia (DACS) is a leading not-for-profit organization that provides quality aged community services across New South Wales.

Due to the steady growth of the community sector, we are seeking a skilled State Manager to oversee, lead, and build all aspects of our community services in NSW.


Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Oversight of operational and financial performance across community care sectors, specifically CHSP and HCP programs mindful of the new Support at Home Program
  • Driving business growth opportunities to further develop the Central Coast, Southern Highlands, Northern Rivers, and New England Aged Care Planning regions
  • Ensuring compliance standards and statutory obligations are met
  • Driving innovation and focusing on continuous improvement
  • Providing leadership while empowering the team to provide quality care
  • Demonstrated experience with the successful operation of Community Aged Care, including strong knowledge of CHSP and HCP
  • Strategic thinking
  • Demonstrated experience in establishing new business and services


 Strong business/commercial acumen
  • Ability to monitor and report on financial and operational KPIs
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and inspire people
  • A consumerfocused approach
  • Excellent communication skills ability to build relationships
  • Experience working within the mission, vision, and values of a large organisation
  • Ability to regularly travel intra and interstate
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications/Strong Aged Care experience
