Production Workers with Forklift - WE NEED YOU
***FHR currently have multiple opportunities in Yatala for our client who specialises in manufacturing storm water pipes.

This is a production/manufacturing facility whereby labourers will be required to do a variety of manual labouring and Forklift work.


Our client is rapidly growing and working on large government projects, therefore offering stable employment with the opportunity for permanency after a short probation period.

With the recent integration of brand-new machinery, this is the perfect time to join an amazing company and obtain a wealth of knowledge and genuine opportunities to grow with the business.


Benefits:

***- Afternoon shift: Monday to Friday, 3pm starts, working 10-11 hour shifts
- $34.

50 for the first 8 hours and overtime thereafter - Overtime in every shift
$$$:

  • Permanent positions after 3 months
  • Regular BBQ and Pizza days

Key Responsibilities
***- Remove concrete pipes from molds and clean/prep for the next pour

  • Render any cracks or cosmetic defects on concrete pipes
  • Transport concrete pipes and molds using a Forklift
  • Quality checks to ensure pipes are manufactured correctly and to customer specifications
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Communicate effectively and clearly with other members of staff ie Machine Operators, Maintenance crew etc

Skills & Experience
***- Valid Australian Forklift license

  • Great communication skills and the ability to take direction
  • Be physically fit for manual labouring work
  • Experience as a Trade Assistant, Construction Labourer or Factory Hand
  • Must pass a Drug & Alcohol test (urine) prior to commencing and randomly throughout employment
