The Facilities, Assets and Campus Services team at Swinburne University is seeking a Space and Resources Manager to join their team.

The Space and Resources Manager is accountable for managing the physical allocation of resources and space for academic schools and portfolio across the organization.

In this position, the selected candidate will collaborate across the organization overseeing their team and portfolio to meet the service delivery needs for the designated schools and department.

The primary duties of the Space and Resources Manager entail documenting personnel allocations, conducting space analysis and projects for accurate reporting and ensuring appropriate space utilization.

The role contributes to crafting space procedures and executing university-wide Estate and Space policies to facilitate efficient space utilization and allocation.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role involving coordination of various functions, development, and implementation of processes, and support of policies, ideally within a tertiary education institution.
  • Experience in project development, management, and implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, adept at engaging and collaborating with individuals at all levels both within and outside the University.
  • Proficient in written communication, including research, analysis, report preparation, and documentation like statistical analysis.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or extensive experience and managerial roles in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent blend of relevant experience and education/training.
