About the Opportunity


The Marketing Executive, Adelaide Central Market Authority (ACMA) will support the Marketing and Communications Manager to deliver the annual marketing plan within budget as part of the overall Business Plan, Strategic Plan and Community Engagement Plan.

You will coordinate and liaise with traders to drive and develop retail marketing and customer experience initiatives.

You will also lead the integration of social media across the organisation and traders, ensuring digital and social media platforms form core communications practice.


Being a natural with delivering quality customer service, you will also work closely with all traders and stakeholders to gain support and involvement in marketing activities.

You will play a key role in planning, managing and delivering an innovative, multi-channel marketing communication strategy and liaise with ACMA's media and creative agencies to plan, buy and place all media for the Central Market.

Some of the projects we are currently working on include Market Expansion, Brand Guide and internal stakeholder communications review.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of marketing across a range of consumer/market sectors.
  • Experience in the implementation and coordination of marketing campaigns and promotions across multiple channels.
  • Experience in the development, execution and evaluation of communications plans and strategy, incorporating the use of social media and content creation.
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing services relationship management.
  • Strong writing and editing skills adaptable to various target audiences and for a range of purposes including publications, web and reports.
  • Ability to build positive relationships and consult, influence and communicate with all levels of management and staff, government agencies, stakeholders, event service providers and the community, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to act as Duty Manger for Market complex including Friday night and Saturday as rostered.
