The Wood Minerals & Metals team is currently working on vital metals projects, such as Copper, Nickel, Lithium, Vanadium, Rare Earths, and Base Metals. We are involved in a variety of projects from studies to EPCM packages, spanning locations from Australia to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Wood is seeking a Lead I&C Designer to join our Perth team in the Minerals & Metals division. This is an opportunity to work on Australia's most significant greenfield project, leading the precious metals sector in large-scale discoveries. The position is full-time and open to permanent or contract roles.

This role is ideal for those with backgrounds in the resources sector, particularly in mineral processing design for large-scale greenfield/brownfield developments.

You should have:

  • Prior experience in Instrumentation & Control design for mineral processing facilities,
  • Strong knowledge of relevant I&C industry design practices and international standards,
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills, especially in communicating discipline requirements within the project team,
  • Expertise in delivering cost-effective design and drafting,
  • Proficiency in Microstation and/or AutoCAD/3D Tools, and
  • Familiarity with key Clients in Mining & Minerals.
