Role Overview The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering cutting-edge electrical engineering solutions for a variety of building projects – particularly in healthcare.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the continued success of a respected consultancy.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the electrical engineering design for a range of building projects, from concept through to completion.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to the electrical engineering team, ensuring the highest standards of design and documentation.
Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated and innovative solutions.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure best practices are implemented.
Participate in business development activities, including client presentations and proposal writing.

Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering within the Building Services industry.
Proven track record of leading and delivering complex building projects.
Strong knowledge of Australian building codes and standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
Proficiency in relevant software such as Auto CAD, Revit, and electrical design tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Professional membership with Engineers Australia (CPEng) is highly desirable.
