Our client is a premier leader in Brisbane's Building Services consulting sector, they are thrilled to announce a raft of new projects for the pipeline and have secured a major new $1b health project through to design development stage, multiple Greenstar rated galleries across QLD and exciting upcoming work for the Brisbane 2032 Olympics.
Having done limited recruitment in the last few years and maintaining a stable core team they are now looking to expand the team strategically with a number of positions available across levels and disciplines.
Joining this firm presents an opportunity to join a well-established (over 30 years in the QLD market) and dynamic firm, with extremely low staff turnover.

We are seeking a Senior and/or Associate level Electrical Building Services Engineer.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign of electrical building engineering servicesSite inspections and survey for the purposes of reports or project worksPreparation of engineering drawings and documents to meet project timelinesEngineering calculations such as lighting calculations using Dialux, cable sizing, Maximum Demands, BCA Section J calculationsPreparation of technical specifications and contract documentsPreparation of single lines diagrams and schematicsPreparation of technical specifications and contract documentsSeek and promote ESD and innovation in all aspects of your workCoordination of design with other engineers and appreciation of other services disciplinesAssist with fee proposals and marketing where requiredMentor junior staffAssistance with developing the office and engineering standards and maintaining best practicesKeep abreast of latest trends/requirements
RequirementsBachelor Electrical Engineering, CPEng and RPEQ (Or eligible)Health/Hospital experience would be highly advantageous. Any building services design experience to support newest medical technologies and treatments would be a benefit.
Extensive knowledge of local codes, standards and regulationsAt least 7 years in a similar role experience and skills on your level of entry Senior/Associate.
