Role Purpose:

This role is positioned in the travel line of business with the goal to define market and product innovations whilst also providing governance and strategic frameworks for effective implementation of the travel business plan.


A typical day in this broad based role would include being involved in the portofolio managment of the travel insurance business from strategy to implementation.

What this means is that you will love participating in the development of strategy and providing recommendations to captialise our position in the travel insurance market.


You will be responsible for delivering market insights, finding the growth opportunities across market, product or services and defining segmentation and channel strategies.

Your strategic and problem solving mindset will also enjoy being responsible for insightful and commercially sound analysis, distilling key issues and contributing to fact based recommendations.

This will include identifying key drivers, trends and opportunities within the industry.

You will be chomping at the bit to analyse and interpret financial and operational data into key insights and analytics.

You will enjoy the challenge of creating momentum and change within the business whilst provoking thought leadership in the market.


Your responsibilities include:

1. Market Insights delivery and driving Customer Lab opportunities

  • Defining and delivering Market Development Plan and innovations
  • Defining and delivering Product Development Plan and innovations
  • Support validation of Segmentation and define Channel Plan

Key deliverables include:

  • Deliver optimal product portfolio mix for sustainable growth
  • Define target markets, segments, channels, market share/size, competitor benchmarking
  • Define and identify products & service needs for the market
  • Lead the translation of insights and unmet needs into value propositions for our partners
  • Define digital trends and recommend platforms required
  • Building systems and processes to support regional competency in our Asian sister countries including market monitoring size, share, trends and competive landscape, working with local compatriots
  • Ensure outputs meet compliance standards and regulations within the financial services sector
