This role entails managing safety at school crossings and pedestrian lights, making you a valuable member of the school community, supporting children and families to cross the road safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Regulate traffic flow at school crossings
  • Provide assistance and advice to the public
  • Build rapport with the school community

This role offers a permanent part-time position with an hourly rate of $ per hour + % superannuation. Working 2 hours per day from 8-9 am and 3-4 pm, Monday to Friday during school terms. Benefits include personal leave and annual leave as a permanent employee. No driver's license is required, but reliable transportation to the designated school crossing location is necessary. Applications from all backgrounds and abilities are encouraged. Physical requirements include standing, raising, and holding the pole for extended periods. Permanent employees have access to our well-being program, employee assistance counseling, and receive an additional .5% pay while on annual leave.
