We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager for our newly acquired residential aged care home in Cooma, New South Wales, Sir William Hudson Memorial Centre. The successful applicant must also be a Registered Nurse.
The Facility Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operational, personnel and associated matters across the home.

The role will ensure that all professional care and ancillary support services are delivered in accordance with Respect's values, policies and procedures; and to ensure that the home is managed and maintained within the approved budget, accreditation standards, compliance and reporting requirements.

Requirements:

What you can bring to the role:

  • Demonstrated managerial experience in the aged care sector.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Sound and contemporary clinical and operational knowledge.
  • Highly developed leadership, communication, and change management skills.
  • The ability to relate to the elderly.
  • A pragmatic and outcomefocused approach to problemsolving.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
