Supply and Prosthetic Manager

About the Role


In this role, you will coordinate and control the purchasing of goods, services, and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures, to achieve the hospital's requirements at the best value consistent with appropriate quality and service standards.

This will also involve the efficient receiving, storage and issuing of general and medical supplies and equipment, while maintaining all administrative and clerical requirements of the department.

The role requires a leader with a passion for analysis and problem solving including the ability to work with stakeholders across the hospital to identify and implement continuous improvement activities.


About You


To succeed in this role, you will bring proven experience managing large scale supply networks with hospital/medical experience being highly desired.

You will be a strong communicator with the capacity to effectively manage a large team of administrative and operation staff.

You will be highly organised with a strong attention to detail.

You will also bring;

  • Previous supply/purchasing experience
  • Experience using SAP/other computerised inventory control system
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required
  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
  • Computer literacy skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft
  • Any relevant logistics/supply qualifications (desirable)
  • Previous experience in a hospital environment supply role (desirable)
