Ready to take the reins and lead an awesome team? Join us at Little Flower Junior Outside School Hours Care as our OSHC Coordinator You'll oversee the daily fun of Before and After School Care, plus Vacation Care programs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for all children.
  • Lead a team of dedicated educators, providing guidance, support, and inspiration to bring out the best in each team member.
  • Develop and implement innovative, playbased programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our young adventurers.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging and partnership.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards, maintaining a high standard of care and safety.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Qualified Educator with a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a leadership, coordinator or assistant coordinator role within an OSHC setting.
  • Has a passion for creating engaging programs.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team of educators.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with children, families, and stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in OSHC.
  • Current First Aid Certification, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management Training, or willingness to obtain.

  • Gain practical handson experience while studying your bachelor's degree. There are 8 areas of study that are approved as relevant qualifications for working with schoolage children, for example early childhood education and care qualification, behavioural science, community services, creative arts/ fine arts/ drama or music, nursing/ physiotherapy/ occupational therapy/ diversional therapy or speech pathology, primary/ secondary or special education, sport and recreation and human welfare studies and services.
