The DepartmentThe Sales Executive is responsible for generating cross-platform advertising revenue for Digital & TV (and Radio in some markets) as part of SBS's agency sales team to maximise SBS's revenue opportunities.

The RoleReporting into our Sales Manager â Western Australia, within our national Media Sales team, this role will see you:
Maintaining and growing a client portfolio within Agencies and direct businessesPro-actively maximising revenue opportunities through cross platform campaigns and sponsorships, identifying clients marketing challenges and working with internal resources to provide solutionsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersContinually developing knowledge and expertise of SBS's products, including software expertise, business knowledge, researching tools and techniques, and the competitive environmentResponding to proposals, media schedules and production briefs within tight deadlines, owning and taking responsibility of a given portfolioDelighting our current and prospective clients with face to face meetings and presentationsBuilding digital proposals, creating online insertion orders, checking campaign performance and supporting with general sales administrationAccount managing campaigns and consulting with our Ad operations team to ensure optimization and campaign delivery

About you:


A well-rounded Sales Executive who is ready for that next step in their career trajectory to make a real differenceAn outstanding communicator and who is able to build and maintain effective relationships at all levelsExperience preparing PowerPoint presentations, could put together production briefs and completing sales reportsExperience in providing effective sales solutions to National Media Agency and business clients and have established relationships within these marketsExperience selling television and/or digital video will be highly regarded, but not criticalAudience obsessed, and dedicated to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentSome of the reasons to consider working with us:The people a genuine sense of feeling included (we truly celebrate and welcome difference) and being part of one of the most inclusive companies in AustraliaThe culture and the engagement of our workforce, we are proud to have an employee engagement score of 82% with low levels of employee turnover.
