About the Role
Are you a skilled Business Analyst looking to make a significant impact in a transformative environment? Swinburne University of Technology is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join our ePMO team and play a pivotal role in the Finance Modernisation program.

As the lead Business Analyst, you will have the opportunity to drive change and enhance business outcomes through the delivery of quality and innovative BA services. You will be instrumental in planning and establishing the overall BA schedule, working closely with Project Leads and the Program Director to ensure the success of the Finance Modernisation program in the years 2024/2025.

In this role, you will work with a team of Business Analysts, contributing to the uplift of Swinburnes Business Analysis capability by defining and embedding best practices within our Project Delivery Framework. You will be responsible for managing requirements, from inception to implementation, on projects within the Finance Modernisation program, collaborating with project team members to support development, solution design, testing, UAT, change management, and post-implementation activities.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Significant (10+ years) BA delivery experience in significant sized projects.
  • The production of end-to-end BA and requirements artefacts including BA approaches, plans, high level, detailed, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Agile BA delivery experience – including the production of epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Providing BA input into key project activities and ceremonies such as planning/spring planning, work estimation, stand-ups, showcasing and retrospectives.
  • Experience with process elicitation, analysis and design.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive BA experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • Relevant industry certification. E.g. CBAP, CBATL
