Job Overview:


As a Principal Consultant, you will be responsible for leading end to end Data & Analytics projects that involve Data Migration, Data Integration, Data Modelling, and Reporting.

As a Microsoft stack focused Data Consultant, your role will require you to understand customer requirements, design a complete solution leveraging Microsoft Fabric and/or Azure Databricks in a customer's new or existing Azure environment.

Your role will require you to lead a technical team including Business Analysts, Data Engineers and BI/Analytics developers, lead stakeholder communication, architect the required solutions, spearhead the development of data pipelines with more junior team-members, build semantic models to support reporting, and test and deploy the end-to-end solution.

You will also champion and follow development and Dev Ops best practices such as CI/CD and be proficient in using code management tools such Git Hub.


Your job duties will include:
Customer and internal stakeholder management.
Working as an individual contributor or leading a team of Data Engineers and/or BI Developers on projects.
Architecting solutions and Development in technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Power BI.
Develop, maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated releases.
Document solutions as per best practices.
Train both internal and customer stakeholders.
Test and deploy the end-to-end solution.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Proven experience in stakeholder management, leading Data & Analytics projects, and teams.

Proven experience in designing and building Microsoft Azure based Data & Analytics solutions (at least 5 years' experience).
Proven experience in Data/Semantic Modelling using one of these techniques: Kimball or Inmon.
Proven experience designing and building solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse and Azure Data Lake.
Strong experience with SQL, Python, Pyspark.
Proven experience working with Git and CI/CD tooling.
