Due to our continued growth, we are excited to announce we are now recruiting for an experienced Sector Facilities Lead. This newly created role will report to the Head of Business Services and will be responsible for developing and leading the strategic management of the sector estate across the Australia Sector.

As the Facilities Lead, Australia Sector you will be accountable for:

  • Developing and maintaining facilities management policies and processes, tools and guides and provide advice and support to the Australia Sector business's in managing their various facilities
  • Actively contributing to QinetiQ Group's commitment to NetZero through highlighting ecologically sustainable solutions across the estate
  • Conducting governance activities, including ensuring statutory and lease maintenance obligations are being met, preventative maintenance planning and maintaining fixed asset databases.

This role will suit someone who is a self-starter, excellent problem solver with a can-do attitude. You will also bring with you:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, industry training and/or demonstrated experience in building operations, and or facilities and asset maintenance
  • Proven experience leading and developing strategy in estate planning
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, the capacity to prioritise work and maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines.
  • Experience leading and delivering projects on time and on budget.

Candidates can be based in Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide or Brisbane.
