Job Description

  • As valued members of the team, opportunities exist to be involved in projects from the earliest stages of planning, ground investigation, design, and all the way through to construction.
  • Your role will include new pavement design, rehabilitation design, testing and pavement management advisory services. As part of this role you may be given the opportunity to travel and work on a range of assignments to aid in your professional development.
  • You will also assist in preparation of bids and proposals and attend meetings with contractors and clients, both external and internal and work on multi-disciplinary project design teams. Depending on your interest there is scope to become involved in the management of projects.

Qualifications

As a Pavement Engineer, you will be engaged and excited by project delivery and the successful integration of varied specialist and multi-disciplinary stakeholders.

Ideally you will have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (essential)
  • Experience across highways, industrial, maritime and/or airfields sectors would be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated experience in using pavement design software such as CIRCLY, Rubicon and HDM4 preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Willingness to travel for limited periods
