Key Responsibilities:

  • Govern and champion mining systems, ensuring reliability and assisting technicians with root cause analyses.
  • Project technology mining systems, including strata proximity, driver safety systems, RCT teleremote, and Mobilaris.
  • Work on a 90-minute flight north of Adelaide, at a large mine site.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPENG) certification.
  • Strong experience in the mining industry, with a focus on electricity transmission, distribution, generation, oil and gas, and water businesses.
  • Demonstrable experience in integrating business IT and mission-critical systems.
  • Project engineering experience in design, development, and implementation for various disciplines, including automation, SCADA, IT infrastructure, telecommunications, and substation design.
  • Prior senior roles involving project management, team management, team leadership, project scope development, strategic planning, project planning, and technical expertise.
  • Working within quality control and QA processes in software and engineering fields.
