THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Trademark Assistant to join our leading Trademarks team based in Melbourne.

This is a part-time on-going position, minimum 3 days per week, based in our Melbourne Office.

This position would ideally suit a first or second year law student, who is keen to gain excellent work experience alongside their studies, in a top tier corporate law firm.


The role:

You will be responsible for a particular area of the Trademark Administration group, including associated file management tasks. This is a business critical role and requires excellent attention to detail. You will liaise with trademark lawyers, clients, foreign associates/agents and the offices of IP Australia, IPONZ and WIPO.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent data entry and administration skills
  • Impeccable time management and organisational skills
  • Eagerness to learn and a 'can do' positive attitude
  • Desire to work in a top tier Corporate Law firm
  • Commitment to an ongoing parttime position.
