  • Our client is a market leading, Australian based, multinational, crop protection provider in the agribusiness sector, supplying a wide range of novel and generic farming products including agchemical and nutrition portfolios. They have an outstanding reputation for innovation and quality in their industry.
    _About the role _
  • The Business Manager role is primarily responsible for managing our client's Western Australian business within the designated (geographical / customer based) region. A fully maintained company vehicle, laptop, mobile phone and other necessary tools of trade will be provided.
    _Responsibilities _
- _Developing regional sales by working closely with key account retail outlets, agronomists, corporate farms, growers, consultants and other key influence personnel _
- _Position, develop, support and promote the portfolio of products, predominantly into the broadacre market _
- _Developing a rolling annual territory business plan in conjunction with key customer managers _
- _Service an existing customer base with both established and newer technologies _
- _Participating in grower meetings and trade fairs where applicable _
- _Managing sales budgets, monitoring and updating forecasts to continually improve and achieve a high level of sales plan accuracy. _

  • To be successful, the position holder must have the ability to demonstrate a strong technical sales focus as well as possess a strategic mindset towards customer relationships, business achievement and territory sales growth. _
  • Operating in a competitive and continually changing market environment, this position requires the development of strong interpersonal relationships across all sectors, including at both distributor and end user levels, to promote our client's brand. _
