About the role

CatholicCare's PSP program listens to the voices of young people in our care, recognises their uniqueness and tailors responses to their individual needs. We embrace evidence-based practice and deliver meaningful and innovative services.

The role of Manager Quality, Risk & Compliance is tasked with orchestrating the seamless integration of the overarching business strategy into the PSP program. As part of the PSP leadership team, this position collaborates with other PSP leaders to focus on enhancing services by identifying and implementing opportunities for innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement. A key responsibility of the Manager Quality, Risk & Compliance is to ensure compliance with legislative, funding, government, and CatholicCare standards, thereby safeguarding the program's integrity and effectiveness.

Leveraging substantial practical experience, the Manager Quality, Risk & Compliance develops tailored systems and policies to optimise program performance. They provide valuable guidance, mentoring, and training across the portfolio, nurturing a culture of growth and proficiency within the team. This is a full-time permanent position based at Central Coast with travel required across Central Coast and Sydney.

About you

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology or Social Welfare, including electives on trauma.
  • Ø Developmental Trauma
  • Ø Statutory Child Protection
  • Ø Client Intervention and Case Management
  • Minimum of 3 years' direct experience in working with high risk or vulnerable children and young people in an out of home care environment.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing individuals using contemporary approaches.
  • Proven leadership and influencing skills.
  • A high level of knowledge of Intensive Therapeutic Care and child protection and support in NSW and experience in their practical application.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of case management compliance and OCG standards through work experience.
  • Background in quality and compliance.
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and experience writing effective policies and procedures.
