The Qantas Group property footprint spans over 2 million square metres in over 100 locations.

Within this, the Group's unique property lease portfolio numbers over 300 lease in a diverse range of areas including corporate offices, airport terminals, customer lounges, engineering hangars, car parks and freight facilities.


The Manager, Real Estate & Leasing is responsible for the Qantas Group's broad interests in real estate matters ranging from commercial strategy, commercial negotiation and leasing, subleasing and disposal.

The role is also responsible for providing support to the Group's business units as well as transformation initiatives and has oversight of the outsourced partner who administers the rent roll and portfolio reporting.

Key to this role will be building and maintaining relationships with internal and external key stakeholders to successfully negotiate complex commercial arrangements and coordinate aspects of transformational change.

You'll have

  • Tertiary qualifications in a Business or Propertyrelated field
  • Extensive commercial and negotiation experience in a large corporate organisation
  • Experience in developing commercial strategies to maximise value
  • Experience in negotiation and preparation of new leases, lease renewals and lease disposals
  • Ability to understand the key drivers affecting Qantas and create business value through services and leveraging experienced knowledge, leading practices and professional service
  • Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills
