An exciting opportunity is now open for an Accounts Payable Officer to join our friendly and supportive finance team here at Firbank Grammar.


Key Responsibilities include...

  • Administration of all accounts payable, receiving invoices and accounts payable documentation
  • Management of the timing of payments with respect to both prompt payments and term invoices according to previous agreements with creditors
  • Posting of all invoices to the relevant general ledger accounts
  • Preparing and reconciliation of cheques and EFT disbursements
  • Coordinating, checking and sending purchase order to suppliers and ensuring purchasing protocol is adhered to.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Handson accounts payable experience essential
  • Ability to handle autonomously all aspects of the School accounts
  • School experiences and software Synergetic knowledge is preferable
  • Current Employee WWCC
  • First Aid Certificate
This is a
permanent
, Part-time **role, 4 days a week (hours and days may be negotiated) commencing immediately.
