The Role
NextSense has an exciting opportunity for a Practice Manager to join our team at Deakin, Canberra. This is a permanent full-time role, working 38 hours per week, reporting to the Regional Manager. This role will play an instrumental part in the development of the Administration function across the organisation.
You'll make a difference in this role by:
- Collaborating on and contributing to the development of administrative systems and processes with other key stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives
- Providing supervision and leadership to Administration Assistants both locally and remotely, ensuring appropriate delegation and execution of tasks to a high standard
- Nurturing and growing the relationship between NextSense and our colocated surgery practice
- Taking responsibility for ensuring a seamless client journey from referral through to service delivery
- Contributing to daily tasks with a high level attention to detail
- Flexibly adapting to the evolving nature of the administrative function within the organisation, taking on additional responsibilities as they arise
Desired Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role you'll need to demonstrate you meet the following selection criteria
:
- Previous experience as a Practice Manager or equivalent.
- Relevant Diploma or Advanced Diploma level qualifications with relevant work related experience.
- Previous experience in the health care/medical reception field is desirable.
- Previous experience in leading and motivating a team.
- A natural ability to authentically connect with people.
- Strong organisation and communication skills, as well as attention to detail.
- Effectively time manage workload to meet deadlines and work well during under pressure situations.
- Strong decisionmaking ability, planning and execution of tasks and projects.
- Working with children's/Working with vulnerable persons check
- NDIS worker screening check
