Job Description:
Ability Action Australia is committed to providing quality therapy services that support NDIS participants to get more out life today We provide multidisciplinary Allied Health Services including Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, positive Behaviour Support and Early intervention services.
The role of the Administration and Intake officer (Allied Health) is to assist our team in Camden with all administration tasks related to our intake processes for new and existing referrals.
We are looking for someone who can be the designated point of contact for our participants, their families and/or representatives, providing responsive, efficient and collaborative customer focused service to support them throughout their journey with Ability Action Australia.
This position will work closely with our local Business Partner to ensure positive and effective stakeholder engagement that contributes to the achievement of the Ability Action Australia Camden business objectives.
- Stakeholder engagement with strong customer focus
- Intake phone calls
- Providing guidance to participants and other stakeholders regarding Ability Action Australia services and the broader scheme
- Establish contact with new referred participant
- Manage new and existing funding requested and updates to ensure NDIS funds are available for service.
- Proactively undertake delegated case tasks, administrative requests, and follow up activity to support clinicians in efficient service delivery to Participants
- Undertake and complete clear case noting for all activities
- Liaise with Business partner and Team Leaders to ensure a positive intake experience for new clients
- Waitlist management
- Day to day administrative support for clinicians
Qualifications:
This opportunity would suit someone who has a minimum two (2) years administrative experience and is seeking a new and exciting opportunity to join a team of 25 clinicians in our local Camden hub, located on Argyle Street Camden.
- A sound understanding of personcentred thinking, the principles of the NDIS and the National Disability Service Standards, with experience working within the NDIS and/or disability sector or a willingness to learn.
- Experience in delivery of similar services in a like role (desirable)
- Qualifications related to Community Services or Disability (desirable)
