The Federal Government Department has an ongoing inquiry for SQL Server Developer to Support the Department in Canberra, Sydney and Melbourne.

SQL Server Database Developers (Multiple) will work in Agile teams in our high-profile software development projects.

This is a fast-paced environment, and we require an enthusiastic, professional SQL Server Database Developers who has experience working on large, complex projects.


Other responsibilities include:

  • Participate in requirements analysis
  • Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
  • Write clean, maintainable and scalable code following Departmental standards and practices
  • Work collaboratively with team members
  • Improve and maintain existing software
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)

Essential Criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in user friendly documentation and training guides for computer systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp new concepts, develop both business and technical contexts and adjust documentation language according to target audiences.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to liaise and negotiate with business and technical personnel.
